Meritorious Artist Phạm Khánh Ngọc


Pham Khanh Ngoc got her Bachelor of Art at The First Honor from HCMC Conservatory of Music in 2014 under the guidance of Cho Hae Ryong (M.M). Then, she got her Master of Art (Vocal Performance) in excellent level of HCMC Conservatory of Music in 2016, under the guidance of Prof., P.A. Nguyen Trung Kien.

In April 2017, she completed an internship at the Opera Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, where she performed the role of Zerlina in the opera Don Giovanni and participated in a master class under the guidance of Prof. Pelker Gudrun at the Hannover Conservatory of Music.

In her music career, Khanh Ngoc has excellently received numerous awards: 2 Gold Medals at the National Professional Music and Dance Art Contest (2015), achieved Second Prize at the SLO-ASEAN Vocal Competition in Singapore (9/2016), won the Gold Prize at the 3rd Festival & Competitions for Choir in Bohol, Philippines with the Saigon Ladies group (2016), won First Prize at the Chamber Music and Opera Singing Contest in Ho Chi Minh City (2017), achieved First Prize in Category B "Chamber Music and Opera Singing" at the Autumn Music Contest held in Hanoi (12/2019).

In September 2016, Khanh Ngoc successfully organized her recital at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, titled "This is the moment".

In 2017, she was honored as a representative Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City and the Outstanding Young Officer-Teacher of the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bloc.

She has been invited multiple times to perform with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) in various music programs such as the National Symphony Concert in 2018, 2019, 2022, the Toyota Concert Tour in 2019, the Acecook Happiness Concert Tour in 2021, and Symphony in the Woods in the new city of Binh Duong...

In the years 2016, 2017, and 2018, she was invited to perform consecutively in the Peace Concert series, which aimed to honor the gagok genre - traditional Korean chamber music. She performed alongside the Prime Phildharmonic orchestra, under the direction of conductor Jang Yoon Sung, in major cities of South Korea such as Seoul, Incheon, Goyang, and Cheonan.

Pham Khanh Ngoc has also been invited to perform in concerts in many countries such as France, Belgium, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Egypt. She has performed in many prestigious theaters and concert halls around the world such as Esplanade Theatres on the Bay (Singapore), Wiener Konzerthaus (Vienna, Austria), Mozart-Saal, Haydn-Saal (Burgenland, Austria), Lotte Concert Hall, KBS Concert Hall (South Korea)...

Khánh Ngọc is also a member invited to perform in the high-level delegation accompanying President Võ Văn Thưởng on his official visit to Austria and the state-level visit to Italy & Vatican in July 2023, performing the National Concert at the Cappella Paolina Hall, Quirinale Palace, Italy, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Italy diplomatic relations, along with the art delegation from the National Academy of Music of Vietnam. In September 2022, she was also a member of the working delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism performing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Austria diplomatic relations in Vienna and the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Spain diplomatic relations at the Royal Music Academy in Madrid.

In 2023, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, Khánh Ngọc was invited as a special guest to participate in the opera "Princess Anio" in the role of the Fortune Teller. The performance will take place for the first time in Vietnam at the end of September 2023 and for the first time in Japan in November 2023.

•Pham Khanh Ngoc's repertoire includes the following roles:

Thuong, the character in the play "Nguoi giu con" by Ca Le Thuan.

The Queen of the Night in Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute."

Adele in Johann Strauss' operetta "Die Fledermaus."

Hanna Glawary in Franz Lehar's operetta "The Merry Widow."

Frasquita in Bizet's opera "Carmen."

Gabrielle in J. Offenbach's opera "La Vie Parisienne."

Zerlina in Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni."

Annchen in the opera "Der Freischutz."

Fortune teller (special guest) in Tran Manh Hung's opera "Princess Anio."

Pham Khanh Ngoc is currently a soloist with a strong expertise in the field of music and performing arts. She has performed as a soloist in numerous concerts of the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, both in the city and nationally, and has also played leading roles in many operas. In addition to her performing career, she is also a lecturer in the Department of Vocal Music at the HCMC Conservatory of Music and a faculty member in the Department of Vocal Music at the School of Arts, Saigon University.
